I decided to uninstall and reinstall WLM and Messenger Plus Live cause Plus wasn't working right with WLM.

When I downloaded the installer for WLM, it insists that I already have WLM installed, and won't let me reinstall it.

I searched my computer for all WLM related files, and deleted them, but no dice. I restarted my computer, ran a registry clean, downloaded a different installer for WLM (which closes itself upon loading) but no luck.

Anyone got any idea what I should do?

Try using ZapMessenger and then install latest Windows Live Messenger from here.

I assume that you failed to uninstall Windows Live Messenger "Windows Live Essentials" normally from Add/Remove Programs.

Yeah, I'm used to just deleting the entire folder, cause my add/remove takes forever to load up.

Because the windows add/remove fails at calculating speed.
