I've got 4 skins submitted (this is one of them) by 4 different people, all of them are based on the same. Same filenames, same XML, same styles, just different images. One of them changed a few more images.

I had somebody who submitted a skin based on Dada24's work before. He claimed it was with his permission, but Dada never replied to me when I asked him.

Whether or not Dada24 allows others to use his work as a base, there seem to be a lot of similar skins submitted lately where only the images are different. The site http://tout-wlm.fr/ seems to be owned by Dada24 and hosts a lot of them. Should we add them all on msgpluslive.net when the original author is fine with it? Or should we try to push more creativity?

It is nevertheless the verité I sees not the interet to lie, I just wish an opinion(notice) on my skin it is everything...

I still think that if a skin is completely based upon another skin (and in this case there are even files not from Dada24, but Ryddick), it should not be accepted.
Not a matter of creativity, but a matter of respect to the original creator.

Doesn't matter if you've made the pictures, wich are actually copies. If you've based your work in another's work, it still isn't yours, but from the original creator. And I bet Ryddick didn't allow the use of his resources. (will contact him as soon as he logs in)

Update, again: Looking at that website, you may find LOADS of copies, people just seem to lack the notion of respect about our creations.

You're right. And it was indeed ripped from Ryddick, not Dada24. Since Ryddick didn't give any permission that makes it a lot clearer to not accept any of these rips.

I've dug in the DownDB and deleted 3 more of these rips, see Menthix's reply to Windows 7 Skin. A lot of them may have used tuttomsn.it's tutorial but the "tutorial" is almost a complete rip of Ryddick's Windows 7 skin.
Ryddick posted his Windows 7 skin in february, the tuttomsn.it article and the rips didn't appear until april.
