It works but is not supported. If you find issues they are expected and will not be addressed until the next release.

I can say that it hasn't even entered beta yet, so it will be quite some time before it's officially released (based on previous experience, I actually have no idea at all).

I'm using Messenger Plus! Live on Windows 7 myself, and I haven't found anything that bothers me. One issue you might want to know about is that, due to the way WLM is no longer in the system tray but in the task bar, you can no longer lock messenger (afaik this can be done by running WLM in compatibility mode for Windows Vista, which will result in WLM appearing in the system tray).

Another issue is the old problem where you can't see the content of chat window with tabs enabled when you use something like alt-tab or Aero Peek. My solution has been to simply disable tabs, as Windows 7 by default keeps the different windows tidily hidden behind one icon.

i have had like no real problems with windows 7 and mp!l.. only thing is what Vilkku said and also when using a skin and then minimising with tabs they are sometimes left behind on the desktop... though there is a small fix for this, you just have to click the show desktop button 2 times and it will restore your windows to how they were without the image on the desktop...

iom using windows 7 release candidate build 7100 and messenger plus works fine and so does the skins, im using the fuse skin created by willz and to be fair it works better on windows 7 than it did on vista, with vista i occassionally got an issue where the min max close buttons displayed the regular vista graphics when hovering over them using it on windows 7 has solved that issue somehow so in my opinion it works great.

Thanks for the help guys

by the sounds of thing tabbed chat doesn't work on windows 7 then?
the locking of msn i never used much so that feature wouldn't be a particular big miss to me, but tabbed chatting was useful as when running lots of programs at once your chat aint all over the desktop.

im thinking of upgrading my system to windows 7 atm, but gota wait a few weeks for work and that to be backed up on my server, is worth the upgrade? from what ive been told of it so far, the upgrade is well worth it as windows 7 is like the next "proper" upgrade from an xp system.

Thanks for the help again
