On my Messenger Plus it accepts everything files and webcam requests, it's getting really annoying
I've been going through other posts where they say

You can enable Auto Accept Requests in Plus! Preferences -> "Conversations" -> "Main".

But when i go onto Plus! all that comes up for me is a *
It's getting really annoying and i wish to turn it off can you please help me

Click on the dropdownmenu under Automatically accept requests be default. You should be able to choose which requests you want to automatically accept there.

where's that?

i can't do that coz when i go on plus! only a star>>* comes up!

I say there is also something wrong with your Windows Live Messenger installation because you are missing other menu items like "Show the menu bar" which should be underneath the Plus!-item.

So fix that first, before reinstalling Plus! (in order to reinstall the translation files)

Are you running some sort of skin, or did you apply some path like A-path? Try to repair Windows Live Messenger. You can do this by going to your configuration panel in Windows > Add/Remove programs > Windows Live Messenger > Repair.

Where you have wrote that there is something wrong as it doesn't say i have ' show the menu bar' it does i just didn't get it in the photoshoot

There is a shadow underneath the last item ("Plus!") showing the end of that menu panel. As such, I assumed that was the whole menu panel.

As such, never photoshop screenshots when asking for help. You can crop them to only include the important parts, but never change them to look different than how they do. Screenshots quite often include big hints in the smallest details, and thus are very important in such cases...




What about the questions I asked?
