Thanks in advance!

I have several users that use Windows Live Messenger, their boss wanted them to be able to communicate. Is there a way being an admin that I can change the settings to keep a conversation history without having to go to that pc and making the change? The goal is to keep a history of what they are talking about but some of the users do not have the keep conversation history checked.

Doc, we better back up. We don't have enough road to get up to 88. 

spying on your staff is not allowed unless you have told them and have got them to sign contracts saying that all logs will be checked etc. without proof of you having done this, you are asking for help to break privacy laws so don't be expecting anyone to help.

In this case it is not spying since every employee signed an Acceptable Use Policy, in that policy it states that all electronic messages, data, etc are subject to being monitored or recorded.

well simply tell them to leave/turn the chat log on, and if they don't they'll be fired

Is it a matter of having them stored on a network location or on the local file system?
