Hi, I recently got a Mac and I was disappointed to find that there was no Msg Plus option for the WLM on it. I read that you will not be making one so I am trying to get one feature and one feature only to try and make my MSN life easier.

Coded screenames.

I have hundreds of contacts who have coloured screenames and it just comes up in codes on my msn ([c=18][c=12]c=13]) etc. Is there anyway I can get round this, besides nicknaming all my contacts? Thanks!

You can try using Adium and this addon for it -- I haven't tried it myself, but it seems to be intended exactly for solving this problem.

I am not aware of anything you can do for the Microsoft client on a Mac -- other than running the Windows one and MsgPlus! under Parallels or VMware Fusion, which is probably more trouble than I'd go through for an instant messaging client myself.
