Hello.

I've been using Messenger Plus since 2006 and everything was working .

However today I unistalled 8.5 and reinstalled MSN 8.1 - I made a mistake and i unistalled Messenger Plus .

I installed Messenger Plus again and i am using MSN 8.1 but now when I want to go to the options it says " you must be signed-in" and i am signed in and chatting with my friends

what to do ?

Normally, if you didn't alter or trick Messenger, you should not be able to log in with MSN Messenger 8.1 anways.

Hi , I am using Windows Vista.

@CookieRevised: Yeah I tricked Messenger because i am not a fan of their 2009 Version.

Which might explain why Messenger Plus! doesn't work properly.

Don't trick Messenger, especially not 8.1. There are big security issues, hence the forced update. You should be using Windows Live Messenger 2009 (for your own safety).
