Can you please use the proper official names of things? Otherwise it is very difficult to understand what you exactly mean...
What do you mean with "
email ID"? Do you mean you changed your Windows Live ID?
What do you mean with "
can not access X"? Do you mean you can not sign in anymore with account X in services like Messenger or
http://account.live.com/? (this is not a choice, both are just two examples of where you can sign in using your Windows Live account)
From where did you change your Windows Live ID? I mean, to what page did you go? This is extremely important because there are fake websites out there. You can only change your Windows Live ID (and keep your contacts) from
https://account.live.com/summarypage.aspx, or directly from
https://account.live.com/ChangeId.aspx. (notice the http
s; s from secure site. If there is no 's' then it most likely is _not_ an official MS page).
It also only works in certain situations. Not everybody can change their Windows Live ID and keep their contacts.
Anyways, changes can take up to 24 hours, and sometimes 48 hours.
If you did use those secured sites to change your Windows Live ID and you still have still troubles after 48 hours, contact support:
