okey so the problem is this i got windows live messenger beta i didnt used it because i never had friends that used it to so i just deleted some files of it and though its gone but now i need the msn messenger but always when i try to download it its just shows me the display screen of "the installationprogram is preparing" already let it load the whole day but nothing then i tried to download a older version but this also doesnt work because it  says i need to delete the new version so i cant delete it or reinstall one what should i do?

Never ever just delete files to remove a program. Always use the proper uninstallation procedure (which is usually going to 'Add/Remove Programs' in your Windows Control Panel).

is that the way to get msn ? the zapmessenger download link doesnt work already downloaded the other thing that is required but it still wont work =(

You get "msn" (note: "msn" does not exist as a program, the proper name is Windows Live Messenger, or at least Messenger) by downloadng from the official site.

ZapMessenger is, as you can read on JK's blog site, a program to remove the remains of Messenger and its bad installation.

I contacted JK to inform him that the download link doesn't work anymore. So, try again later. EDIT: It should work again

Removing the remains of the bad installation is essential and must be done before you reinstall. As long as you haven't done that, the installation will always fail.
