when i IM someone, it will stay thr for a second or so and then be replaced by a random code, as for the reply from my friend, can ne1 help plz?

Type (!VER) in a conversation window and paste the results here. Also please post a screenshot of the conversation window where this is happening. Is it always the same contact that it happens with or every contact? Does it happen every time?

What scripts are you running? (I think (!SVER) is still valid to show you all the scripts)

the code at the top is "4571c613-ee74-11de-93df-001d0960f678", and it's a different code for all conversations, and every time.

and i don't under stand the script thing, have only just installed it.

type (!SVER) into a conversation and press enter and then show us the results.  It lets us see your OS, versions of WLM & MsgPlus!Live and any scripts you are using

Firstly it doesn't look like you have Messenger Plus! installed correctly. Did you attempt to install it?

i've only just installed it, am now thinking about re-installing it

you have to put brackets around it.  you have to send:

(!SVER)

literally like that, including the brackets.

if it doesn't work then messenger plus! live isn't installed properly

Just a tip, to protect the privacy of your friends, you should probably blur/black out their email addresses in the screenshot you're posting. The majority of the community is friendly, but it is a precaution that i'm sure they would appreciate that you take.
