Finally the world sees what I've always seen just out from watching the Opening Ceremonies. It was awesome

Anyone watch it on TV?

I watched it all with a friend and it was pretty good. The rest of the Olympics I'll probably not watch (with occasional peeks at some events).

Canada wins, not only for the epic ceremony, but for the longest relay run, and the general fact that Canada wins at life.

Did anybody else laugh when Steve Nash was looking all confused, waiting for the indoor flame to rise?

Nash's look was priceless. The whales were awesome though. Simply stunning.

Note to anyone who hasn't watched the opening ceremonies. Do so, it's worth it.

Get a decent timezone, fell asleep before it started.

Will probably leech a hd rip.

i started to watch it, and after about 1 minute, i got VERY bored...

Im watching the replay at the moment (only about 15 mins in) and I have to agree with NanaFreak thus far, they need less of random guy snowboarding and more fireworks/explosions

Just started watching. But to expect as much fireworks as Beijing wouldn't be fair, that's China's thing.

Just watched the repeat. Pretty good. Pity about the 4th ice-block thing to light the torch.
