can anyone tell me where my contacts have gone and why they are not there on my messenger when i log on?.and how i get them on

I had this problem once, I just ended the messenger process and opened messenger again.

ctrl + shift + esc > processes > msnmsgr.exe (end).

It may not work for you though.

How the hell is that going to help anymore than exiting Messenger?

If you sign into a webmessenger such as http://www.ebuddy.com then are your contacts still there?

yes contacts are there on ebuddy..not on messenger.dont know why though

tried that.and deleted cache files.still no contacts on

Remove Messenger Plus! Live and any other add-ons you have.

and then do what?

I recall well that at one point many of messenger live users face this problem... It happened with me, and many of my friends.
I remember signing in and out several times, and the list came back !
