O.P. Bluray playback
So, we've got a HTPC with bluray, but we can't find good software to play blurays. PowerDVD plays fine... when it wants to. Otherwise, it crashes, for no reason at all.
Is there any freeware?

RE: Bluray playback
Freeware is highly unlikely because of the license fees developers need to pay for blueray playback. I never looked into it, but from what I heard PowerDVD is pretty much the only one.
Finish the problem

Fees? That's bad...
Where's that kid who cracked DVD protection when we need him?

Mine seems to crash when audio is set to 7.1, but I don't know why.

I believe so. Now I think I've managed to download the original software by HP (actually it's made by Cyberlink, how ironic). Hope this one don't crash.
