Nope. Windows Live Messenger 2009 uses different code than that of 2008.

In other words, without hand-updating, there's no way to 'update' skins.

May i know how to manual change the code?
If i'm not the skin creator, where can i get the original skin's code to change the code myself?

After installing a skin, its files are in their respective folders in %ProgramFiles%\Messenger Plus! Live\Skins.

The problem i face now is the skin can't be installed at all.
The error is " The file you tried to load doesn't appear to be a valid messenger plus! skin pack". So, i can't get the code.
What can i do now?
What is the actual problem?
