Well, I got up early this morning to find out more dodgy contacts had added me (bots).

So I decided to clear up my contact list, deleting all the other ones that are the same. When I right clicked on one, just as I was about to delete the contact started talking to me.

I had blocked this contact, tried to reply and nothing. The contact continued to talk after being blocked.

Anyone know why this is?

Tools > Options > Privacy

Carefully check both the allow list and block list to see if the contact is in either.

Also make sure that the option for only people in your allow list is ticked.
