I have an Itouch but dont want to use itunes to upload music to my player is there an an alternative?

Download the itunes MSI, rename to .zip

Extract it

Install Application Support MSI
Install Mobile Device Support MSI

Install QT Lite.

Then use SharePod

That's the most basic stuff you need

will i be able to use those to updates my pictures on my ipod?

Why don't you want to use iTunes, when it will give you the best method and interface for managing files on your iPod?

because i'm having problems installing it

iTunes, sucks. It's far to restrictive. I use sharepod, it's better and much lighter.

It's horrible. SharePod makes everything so much better .

You can also use Songbird, it's a decent media manager and has a pretty nice iPod support.

Even though iTunes is still the best IMHO. iTunes genius ftw!

If you have the drivers installed and you have entered the passcode on the iPod or iPhone you will be able to chance pictures as if it was a digital camera

so i would be able to import and export the pictures than?
