Hey, I have an Idea for the new Plus

If you don't like the tabbed chat, you can use this idea, so you cant choose both of them.

Anyway the idea is,

Instead of the tabbed chat bar, viewing your current tabbed chat "Open Conversation"

You can add few contact on that bar, and you can jump to their convo anytime you want, Its like the Favorite bar.

In that bar you can view the contact name, and their status, Offline Online

If they came online, the color of the tab would get as same as the skin color, and if they are offline, the tab would be gray or something, but you can still jump to it

So my idea is to get a tabbed chat bar, but its not about "Open conversation"

Its about your favorite contact, you can add them or remove them from that bar easly, and that bar will be in every open convo you have, and when you press on that bar, It'll open a new convo window.

I hope you get it and liked it and it will get accepted.

Desktop contacts can already do most of what you're suggesting.

There is also a built in tabbed chatting feature to WLM 2010 that it's not 100% clear how it will work thus far

Exactly, but they'll be in a bar on the convo window.

because they are a little bit annoying when they are on the desktop,

because I'll add over 9 contacts, and I always chat on my messenger

It would be better to set them on the conversation window I guess

So basically, you want a Desktop Contacts in the Chat Window?

Sounds fine to me

He simply wants a favorites toolbar in the conversation window.

So you can easily click on your favorite contact and start chatting (without the need to go to the main contactlist) from any already open conversation window.

This has got absolutely nothing to do with tabbed conversations.
(other than that the tabs in a tabbed conversation are also a kind of toolbar).

Not a bad idea at all tbh....

Yeah, You can call it VIP contacts, you can edit them and add them when ever you want, for example you are having business with some guy, and you are waiting for him to get online, there is no need to add him to the favorite for that, Add him to the VIP contacts bar, Instead of searcing for him into your list, Its just like adding them to the desktop, but instead we'll add them in a toolbar in every conversation.
