I have blocked someone but when I checked against my privacy status, he appears on Allow List and Block List. Why is this?

Did you delete them from your contact list?  It's possible that until they're deleted that they remain in the Allow List.

As long as they are blocked they won't be able to contact you though, that over-rides anything else
