Display Pics Don't Show
In my Messenger, my own display pic shows to others and to me.
But I can't see other people's pics when I chat. I can only see them briefly in when the little sign in notification box pops up.
What gives?

Nothing at all. No picture and no box for one. Just text and the name etc.

Depending on the language of your WLM client there is either a gripper bar on the left or right of the conversation window. If you click it the display picture will show.
