Hello,

Actually i have installed Plus with the hope to be able to export Live contacts even the ones blocked in the privacy list,

i have seen that the Cleanup contact contains some of this information,

is it possible somehow to export this list, instead of re-typing each name on its on?

P.S. the import/export feature in the preferences window as i have seen, exports only "normal" contacts

Export the list to where?  To a new Messenger account?

no, export it to a text file, or csv,

i.e. anything readable

What do you want the list for though?  What is the reason for wanting to export it rather than just looking through it in Messenger itself?

I don't think there's a way of exporting the Allow & Block lists, you can't even export the contact list itself anymore as far as I know

i want to export the whole list (blocked and allowed) to another acount...

but i want to filter the list before i do that

That isn't possible manually.  You can't add someone to the blocked list without first adding them to your account and THEN blocking them, so in effect, creating a new accounts serves as being it's own "Blocked" list....as only the people you add to it will be able to see you.  If one of the contacts you'd wish to block tries to add you, you can just decline the invitation.

As for the allow list, this isn't possible and as I said, it's not possible to export your contacts list anymore.  The easiest way would be to change your screenname on your old account, giving the address of your new account and asking people to add it.....or using the Polygamy feature of Messenger Plus! Live to sign into two accounts at the same time and then add people that way, just going through your contacts list

No, they can't be exported or imported automatically.  I've explained everything above and explained your way around it, please re-read my last post.

The feature was removed from Windows Live Messenger, it's nothing to do with Messenger Plus! Live
