RE: silent Messenger Plus
Hello and welcome,

To answer your question: there is no way to completely hide the fact that Messenger Plus! is running (and logging chats) from the user.

But note that there are no notifications (called toasts) shown related to chat logging; not in Windows Live Messenger, not in Messenger Plus!.

But you can turn off other notifications of Messenger Plus! and you can disable the added Messenger Plus! buttons in the contact list, contact cards and chat windows. For this you need to alter quite a lot of different settings in Messenger Plus! though.

But you can't hide other aspects of Messenger Plus! (like the main menu and other added menu's, logging, other tidbits, etc). And the user will always be able to turn off chat logging or even start Messenger without Messenger Plus!.

Bottom line is: Messenger Plus! can not be used to spy on people without them knowing about it or without a way to turn it off.

Spying on your husband is not something we can support or aid you to do.

We get many people on here asking for ways to spy on the messenger activities of their husband/wife/boyfriend/girlfriend and each time the advice is the same: ask them outright....and if they lie, or you think they're lying, then you have greater issues than trying to spy on their Messanger and need a councillor, not a technician ;)
