O.P. CE/DP Stealer 2 ADWARE FIXED + Adware uninstallers
Theres now an updated Stealer 2.0 which DOES NOT need the adware installed to run, can get it from my site again Here 
Theres also removers for NCase AND BlazeFind which are the things bundled with Stealer 2.0, they both work perfectly for me and stealer still works, so have fun

it is a 'legal' version? (not cracked by someone, but really 'fixed' by the developer?)

I do not think developer did it himself! But, as i understand, the developer have not said a word about instalaltion of adware, so removing something you did not agree to install is not really "illegal"... 
please correct me if i'm wrong...

dwergs beat me to it yes, he did do it because of the bad replies about the adware before, so now you can uninstall the adware (i have removers on my site here and you can still run the Stealer. |

But do u need to install the adware when u install the program, or is it optional like in Plus!?

u have to install it, BUT you can remove it easily straight after if you want.
