I have my messenger plus set to auto-accept request,but it still asks me if i accept or reject an invitation fron my contact to view my webcam. What am i doing wrong?

when you enable auto-accept requests, you have the option to select from which contacts requests will be autpo-accepted. Is your contact in the list of selected people whose requests will be auto-accepted?

Perhaps Messenger | Tools | Options | the Private tab --> Bottom most alternative. Ticked or not?

me too it doesn't run i have windows 98 but it run in my second pc who have windows XP

I noticed that my auto-accept only worked after MSN closed again and re-opened...if you've only just installed Messenger Plus! close MSN and reopen it...

still not working. I have windows 98, and still can't get my friend's
ms messenger plus to auto accept my request to view his webcam

what do you exactly want to do? Accept request from your contacts so they can see your cam, or that your contacts accept your requests so you can see their cam? The first can be done with plus. The 2nd can't.

You will automatically accept the request your contacts send... not the opposite

now i'm confused!!!!
what i want to do is this.!!! if possible!!!!
1. My friend is loged on to ms messenger plus
2. he has auto accept checked
3. He is my contact.
4. I then right click on this contact and request to view his webcam.
5. Should i be able to view his webcam without him getting the accept/cancel request? (whenever he's on line)

Yes, you'll be able to see his web cam if you are in the list of people allowed by him to see his cam. He enabled the autoaccept feature but he has the ability of select to which contacts the requests will be auto accepted. You have to be in that list. Tell him to pick up you in that list.
