msn icon not appering when msgplus! is running

O.P. msn icon not appering when msgplus! is running
when i try and start msn messenger 7. it appers in the process tab but will not apper in the taskbar but when killing msg plus! it appers again.

i have no plugins
have  removed  them both and fresh install  but still  the same thing :(

does any one have any idea what could be making it do that?

Make sure Windows isn't hiding the Messenger icon (right-click the double chevron, then 'Customise Notifications').
