I tried upgrading last night to the newest live plus! live ...as soon as i tried, it didnt work...
im gettin an error that says  "software not loaded" - "an error occured which prevented messenger plus! live from leading properly"

I tried to uninstall both messenger plus and windows live messenger, then reinstall. I still have the same problem.

Software info:
I'm running windows xp, and I'm using the Windows live messenger version 8.0

PLEASE, SOMEONE HELP! I MISS PLUS!

Make sure you have no 3rd party software like 'Smiley Central', 'SweetIM' or whatever other (dodgy) addons for Windows Live Messenger. If so uninstall them by going to your Configuration Panel in Windows and Add/Remove Programs.

Also make sure you haven't any internet security software running which might prevent Messenger Plus! Live from loading properly. If so temporarly disable them or let them allow Plus!Live from running.

nope,...i still have the same problem.
im also getting an error of "bad image" when i open messenger..(this only started happening the very moment plus! was added onto my mesenger. heres what it looks like:
