O.P. OS X - Uninstall programs
I'm gonna start pulling my hair out over this....

Os x has the really cool feature of "packaging" programs so you can just move them to the trash to unisntall them. I just installed acrobat reader but it's not in a package, it installed normally, if i run the installer it just installs it again without asking for uninstall....

WHAT DO I DO!?

(this is so embarassing.... i can't uninstall a program :$)

Instead of slamming OS X because one program doesn't install like the others do, maybe you could try and be helpful.

Maniac, when you say it doesn't install like a normal OS X package, exactly what do you mean by this? Is there no uninstaller where Acrobat Reader has been installed to? Could you also post the result of the following command line: 'whereis acroread'.

my friend says "just drag the app from the home/applications folder to the trash" and also "but run a spotlight search to clear all system files"
