i know there are a few free anti-virus programs out there, but what are people opinions as to which is the best?

No it doesnt

I use it all the time and it has never detected it as a virus or malware!

i hear everywhere from people saying AVG is the best free antivirus,

i dont get why everybody rags on norton so much, they think its just a crapola company, i thought personally it was the best antivirus software ive ever used and worked very well
