O.P. aMSN Plus!
I was just reading @ Neowin that a new version of aMSN has been released.  When I went to the site and had a look at the Plugins list, there's one called aMSN Plus! would they need Patchou's permission to call it that?

Features:
quote:
aMSN Extension similar to MSN Plus! (commands in chat window, multiple-text format, colored nicks)

Neowin Newspost: http://www.neowin.net/index.php?act=view&id=31898
SoundPacks   -   Scripts   -   Skins

that's not a bug, thats an unexpected feature

lordy16, absolutely right. Besides that I think aMSN doesn't know the difference between Messenger Plus! and MSN Plus. After all these two are throughout different.

Ofcourse somebody can use Plus! as a name. Patchou isn't the first to use it at all, take Microsoft Plus! for example that exists for a long time now.

RE: aMSN Plus!
Someone should tell them the difference about MSN Plus! and MsgPlus!

But other than that, what Patchou registered was "Messenger Plus!" (and I suppose he's registering/registered "Messenger Plus! Live").

Any other names are ok to use, and as MenthiX said, anyone can use "Plus!" (though, it has become very unoriginal IMO; understandable in programs that have been called "Plus!" years ago (such as MP! and MP!L)).
