Hey guys

For some od reason I cannot login to WLM, so I downloaded Trillian and I can login there. Any Ideas guys?

Do you get any kind of error or message when you try to login on WLM? What happens exactly?

I am having the same problem. I have had a friend use my account on his pc with no problems.

Tried:

• Rebooting
  Reinstalling wlm
  Uninstalling MP!L
  Disabling the firewall

These have no affect on the error and i am unsure what to do next except contacting the messenger support.

Edit: I just look at THIS POST and opted out of the beta. Its now working

are you running ZA bigtrev... (zone alarm)

i found uninstalling it is the only way to sign in  for me...

Yes i am but i disabled it and tryed to sign on but it didnt work. Also i was on wlm and then signed of then signed backon about 10mins later and then i got the error.

ok, well bigtrev, i've been working with a person on this issue, and have sent several connection logs.

1 of the logs found that with Msgpluslive + Zone alarm installed that messenger doesn't pull send the user credentials.

ZA seems to be blocking something needed for a protocol 14 login.

I am also having this problem with ZA.  In fact, I think I am experiencing two separate bugs but am not sure if they are linked;

1.)  When I have Zonealarm active I just cannot sign in, getting the "service is unavailable message".

2.)  When I disable ZoneAlarm I cannot login but get no error message, see http://shoutbox.menthix.net/showthread.php?tid=63...d=696296#pid696296 .

I was getting problem 2 but not problem 1 before I signed up for the yahoo interopability BETA, since doing that I am getting both.
