Sorry if this isn't where anyone would like this, but I was wondering if it is possible to get a customized Now Playing thing. I'm using Windows Media Player, and am hoping to be able to somehow append my personal message onto the end of the now playing string.
I would be happy if either that or the ability to get information on the currently playing song from WMP using scripts.

This post has a script for creating your own custom strings for the "Now Playing" function using variables such as {title} and {album}. I'm sure that you could just add your personal message to the end of the string.
The only problem I can see is that it has been designed for iTunes and Winamp. So either try it anyway () or download iTunes or Winamp if you need to have this script
