Iv got Windows Live Messenger Plus Version 4.11.0.254 and in the past week it has been constantly freezing whenever i use it. It will freeze for a few seconds and then work again but it constantly happens. Everything was working fine untill about a week ago and i tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Windows Live Messenger but that did not help. I havent installed anything or chaged any settings in my computer so i cant think of anything that is causing this problem. Thanks

   (a) Do you have sweetim or smiley central installed at the moment?

   (b) Did you ever have sweetim or smiley central installed?

2) Do you have the latest version of Both Windows Live Messenger (for 8.0 users latest is: 8.0.0812.00 and for 8.1 BETA users it is: 8.1.0168.00_ClientV8.1*) and Messenger Plus! Live (version 4.11.251**)?

3) Do you have something Like Windows Live One Care installed?

4) Did or do you have any scripts installed?

5) Have you used any Patches Like Mess-Patch or APatch?

6) Does it also happen with both versions of Windows Live Messenger (8.0 and 8.1)?

ok try with 8.1 from http://ideas.live.com and report back. However, don't just post back and say it doesn't work. Give it a day or so and if it does the same then we will see what can be done.
