i installed windows messenger live plus and everything was fine.

when i restarted my computer all the plus files were still stored on my pc but did not work with windows live as it ran like plus was not installed.

i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling about 3 times and still the same problem. i have deleted all the msn files.

the plus program works fine on all the other users on my pc but not on mine.

please help?

1. It's Messenger Plus Live! not Windows Messenger Live Plus.
2. What version of MSN (Windows Live) Messenger are you running?
3. What version of Messenger Plus (Live) are you trying to run
4. What OS (XP/Vista etc) Are you running?
5. Do you have administration Rights?

windows live messenger version 8.1
Messenger Plus Live! 4.20.262
i have windows xp
and i'm not sure about the administration rights. and not sure how to find out?

To find out if you have admin rights...
Control Panel > User Accounts (i think) > Then under your account name it will either say limited or administrator

i am a computer administrator !
