I know I've left this really late but I was kinda busy with univ exams and getting a visa. Now its almost surely confirmed that I'll get a visa. I have a meet at the consulate on Tuesday after which I should get my visa. Here's the low down.
I am going to
Paris, France for the
Microsoft Imagine Cup 2008 World Finals as a finalist for the
interoperability Award Finalist. As part of the event I'll be in Paris from the 3rd of July to the 9th after which I'll probably be going to one of the neighbouring countries (current favourite is Belgium or Germany) for a few days before I get my flight back here on the 13th.
I was just wondering if in case there are people in and around that I would possibly know or are willing to meet up, I'm up for it. I know this is very last minute (around 14 days before I leave) but please do let me know if any of you are interested. I did ask a few people who are in Europe but none of them could make it to any place I would be able to go. I just didn't want to ask this earlier because it seemed I wouldn't get the visa in time. Now it seems I'll get it.
I don't really know anyone from France. If this would have been Amsterdam or England, I'm pretty sure I'd be able to meet quite a few people
So if any of you are interested, do let me know. If you guys have ideas on what I can do (for the least possible cost
) in the 4 extra days we are spending in Europe (places to go, places we can stay/see/eat) do let me know. I'm always open to suggestions
Thanks!
Edit: Missed an 'i' in interoperability ;p
