O.P. Contact Names <-> Nicknames?
good evening.

i started to learn skinning a few days ago, and did a lot researches to find out, how i could change my contact list in a way, so that the contact name and the nickname (by me) are displayed. (i. e. <Nickname> - <Contact Name> - <Status>). can anybody answer this question? i didn't found a property named like "nickname" yet.

regards, freunddersonne

(sorry for my english :$)

You can't do that via skinning, maybe with a script, but I'm not really sure.

thanks for this fast response.

in the scripting manual i could find a property for contacts named "Name" but the description says this is _not_ the nickname. i can retrieve all informations about contacts - even unimportant - but it seems that nicknames can't be used in any way... :(

Unfortunatly you can't, not with skinning and not with scripting.

Biggest reason being that Messenger Plus! does not have access to the 'nicknames' which can be set in WLM.
