O.P. Messenger help (Need expert help)?
Right at the top (categories, online/offline)

UPDATE: I've added a "before" pic

BEFORE (THE WAY ITS SUPPOSED TO BE) - http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/dd217/arfanrauf/BEFORE.jpg

PICS (RIGHT NOW)- http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/dd217/arfanrauf/OMGWHATSWRONG.jpg

It should say 15/2600 in Other contacts

How do I expand it to show how many contacts I really have both online/offline OR GET RID OF THESE DAMN DOTS?

From what I've seen on the screenshot, I think the text "2600" is too long to fit in the label thingy. Could you confirm this on another PC?

Also, a second ago it changed back to what its meant to be..like in the above pic..completely randomly..i didnt do anything.

So to test it..I signed out and back in. It was back to the dots again when I signed in. ARGH

That's weird.. Could you try placing the mouse into specific regions and see what happens? (e.g. moving from the task bar onto the contact list).

A number of people have had this issue before, and probably still do (I have it too). It seems to be some kind of bug within Messenger, and only fixes itself intermittently. I guess there's not much we can do about it unless the Windows Live team release a new version of Messenger.

There is plenty you can do: report the problem to microsoft; they might not even know the bug exists....

(and the more peeps do this, the more chance there is the bug will be fixed)

;)
