O.P. Grin  Can't Sign in and no error message - SOLUTION - nsvcappflt.exe
Hi. I have been having to use crap msn alternatives. Windows Live Messenger simply doesn't want to work on my computer.
The problem- fresh install of the latest windows live messenger, login, it loads with the spinning people then it just resets to the login screen. No error message what so ever. Can't find a solution on google.
It is sort of connecting but doesn't do anything. If will log me out of my messenger account if i'm on another messenger but doesn't login properly on windows live.

I've tried deleteing everything to do with msn/windows messenger in regedit, then installing. I have no firewall running and with windows firewall off and messenger as an exception.

OS- Windows XP SP3.

SO ANNOYING. Theres no other messenger what will let me do video chat either. I really miss the official messenger...

RE: Sign in fail with no error message - Strange problem
Please follow this guide to remove everything related to Messenger.

That should fix it.

If it doesn't, then there's not much more you can do unfortunately.

This should help anybody in the future.

Ricky, we have identified that the connection of Window Live Messenger 2009 is filtered off by the NVIDIA Network Access Manager. Please test out the following before proceeding with the troubleshooting steps below:

SOLUTION-
I emailed windows live, they wanted some log files off me then told me the solution:
code:
1. Click Start, click Run, type taskmgr.exe and press Enter or click OK.

For Windows Vista:

Click on Start (Windows Logo Pearl button)

Type taskmgr.exe on the Start Search box

Press Enter

2. On the Windows Task Manager window, click the Process tab.

3. Under Image Name, locate nsvcappflt.exe and click End Process.

4. Click Yes to confirm.

5. Attempt to sign in to Windows Live Messenger.

Those logs are of not much use to the people here.
And they also contain your personal stuff, emails and contact emails. So it is not a good idea to post them in public. So I would suggest to remove it ;)

Only when they have the _exact_ same problem.

Login problems can be caused by a thousand number of things...
But thanks for letting know that the NVIDIA Network Access Manager (why on earth does a graphic driver constantly need to access the net?) is one of those things on the long list of incompatible stuff.

For other people who experience similar problems:
In situation likes this you should always contact Windows Live Support to let them know about the problem:
