Hello there! I'll cut the small talk and get right into what needs to be done!
Basically, I'm a long time Plus! user - I've never had a problem once. Ever since 2 days ago, messenger plus dissapeared, but it's there. You might be a little confused, so allow me to expand.
On the menu bar, where it says "Plus" and there's a bunch of options for you to select from; that's completely gone.
None of my conversations are saved, as in they aren't logged.
I can't access any scripts from the chat window, but I can however install new scripts (none of them take any effect that I can see). When installing a skin, it installs and then it restarts, but it doesn't take effect.
On my contact list, I can see names in colour fully (including my own); however, while talking, I can't see the names in colour (once again, including my own), I see the codes they used to make them colour. However, everyone I'm talking to (who has Plus!) can see my name in colour (and I can too, just not in the chat window)
I have tried re-installing both messenger and Plus! twice.
Thank you in advance, and just in case it matters, my messenger version is the following: Version 2009 (Build 14.0.0809.726)
My Plus! version is the latest one that I downloaded from the website.

Everything you described sounds way to similar as to what would happen when you have some incompatible piece of software installed. Read this sticky thread: Messenger Plus! Live Disappears after restart
