O.P. Weird character appears instead of "
On msn, if i try to type:
' i get ‘
" i get |

Its only on msn as far as i know

Any ideas?

Do "y" and "z" come out correctly for you?

It sounds like a problem my girlfriend had a while ago.  Unplug your keyboard, go to "Device Manager" and delete your keyboard.

Re-start without a keyboard then shut down, plug the keyboard back in and start it up again

im on a laptop
I cant unplug my keyboard

y and z are normal

Restarting my comp fixed it.
