Seems a big invasion of privacy. If 65 Million people use Plus! and theirs the option to record others, it's gonna cause a lot of problems. Especially with young people.

When you are in any kind of conversation (video/audio/text) you always put your privacy in the hands of the participants. It is up to you if you trust them with the things you show or tell them, and if you trust them not to share it with others. Plus! being able to record video conversations wouldn't change anything to that. There are probably more Messenger users with a decent enough camera in their phone to record webcam video than there are Messenger users with Plus! installed. There are also already existing programs dedicated to recording Messenger video conversations, as well as general purpose screen recording apps.
