The different areas are seperated below... SYSTEM TRAY ----------- Once the plugin is loaded in memeory, the default actions of the system tray icon are altered as below. Left button single click Auto-Hide mode = expand MSN contact list Dock Mode = open/close MSN contact list Middle button single click Perform auto-sign in if a password is saved Middle button double click Close MSN contact list Right button double click Show plugin preferences dialog box MSN CONTACT LIST ---------------- When the window frame is not visible then the caption and menu is removed so as to cover all the available area of the window... The caption and menu are re-set to the window if the frame is shown or if the user presses the ALT key to show the menu. In Auto-Hide mode when window is collupsed the ALT key is disabled. The window snaps to the screen edges at a specified amount of pixels set in the preferences, and does not allow the window to go off the screen. Option to Hide the window's taskbar button and the icon in the task switch- board (ATL+TAB) Option to show/hide the menu depending on the mouse hover state... If the mouse is over the window the menu is shown and once it leaves the window the menu is again hidden after a specified amount of time has elapsed. Dock the window to the side of the screen either left or right adjusting the working area, thus making the contact list always, visible to the user and away from any other windows Auto-Hide mode hides the window to either the left or right side of the sreen leaving a thin line to indicate where the contact list is located as it is not necessary to cover the whole of the left or right side. This feature also works with the mouse over status, while the mouse is over the contact list, the contact list is visible, once it leaves the contact list hides after a specified amount of time has elapsed. This feature can only work if the contaclt list's frame is hidden. The contact list can be forced to be hidden if the frame is shown, and can be forced, to hide to a specific side of the screen. Auto checks where the contact list is attached to and hides it there.
