RE: [?] Detect x64 through JScript & EM_SETSEL on x64 Are you perhaps confusing MAKEWORD with MAKELONG ? BYTE = 8-bit WORD = 16-bit DWORD/long = 32-bit MAKEWORD takes two BYTEs and turns it into a WORD MAKELONG takes two WORDs and turns it into a DWORD/LONG LOWORD gets a WORD from a DWORD/LONG (first o... | TheBlasphemer | Scripting | 02-02-2010 at 10:15 PM |
RE: [?] Detect x64 through JScript & EM_SETSEL on x64 It's far more likely that it's a bug in how you use it than it being related to x64. Messenger is a x86 (32-bit) program, and as such is run in a x86 enviroment with x86 APIs. x86 processes do not have access to x64 APIs, and as such EM_SETSEL woul... | TheBlasphemer | Scripting | 02-02-2010 at 12:03 PM |

RE: I want to join the dark side. That's just a trade-off. My M1530 does about 2:30h on the normal un-bulged battery, while it does 4:30h with the bulge one. For normal use I just put in the small one, but when I go on long travels or train rides I take the bigger one. | TheBlasphemer | General Chit Chat | 02-27-2009 at 11:35 AM |
RE: I want to join the dark side. I recently bought a 15" Dell XPS, and I'm totally in love with it. Personally I went for 15" because it's small enough to fit in my backpack, yet big enough to program on. If you're only using it for school work, I'd suggest looking at the 13"... | TheBlasphemer | General Chit Chat | 02-23-2009 at 09:08 PM |
RE: Plus! Meeting, London '09 Hey, I can get tickets to either stansted, gatwick, or luton for roughly the same price. I remember that one of them was completely outside of londen, and I didn't particularly like that one :p So if there's any londonners in here: which airport do... | TheBlasphemer | General Chit Chat | 02-05-2009 at 09:12 AM |
RE: Plus! Meeting, London '09 Hmmm, I'm not entirely sure I'm free that time, but if I am and I'm able to book a cheap trip to London, I might join in ;) | TheBlasphemer | General Chit Chat | 02-04-2009 at 08:41 PM |
RE: Random UIFILE trick - dfc dtb functions Quick addition to Steve's post: the last argument to DTB is a default: if the theme handle can not be found, this value is used instead. Should probably be a graphic or an RLE. | TheBlasphemer | Skinning | 01-19-2009 at 12:16 PM |
RE: Calculator to friends How about: !calc while(true); Nice way to make messenger unresponsive... Seriously, don't just pass anything to eval after first validating it properly. I'd say make sure the only characters in there are numbers, spaces, and math operators like +,-... | TheBlasphemer | Scripting | 12-20-2008 at 09:33 PM |
RE: Strikethrough text and quotes What? calling a state-machine slower than a string replace :p? With string replacing, you're already looping through the string several times, why would doing it once but slightly different be any slower? Actually, with algorithms like [url=http://... | TheBlasphemer | Forum & Website | 12-18-2008 at 01:13 PM |

RE: A little fairie told me this... Apparently there are current two [s]fairies[/s]* people involved, and we're working on getting the specifications for the UIB format completely documented. We've both got something that can convert most UIB files to XML, and currently we're workin... | TheBlasphemer | Skype & Live Messenger | 12-17-2008 at 10:12 AM |

RE: "The cake is a lie" in your language Hmmm, I personally would translate it as "De taart is een leugen." (or possible "Het gebak is een leugen"). In my opinion "Cake" is more appropriate for those long things you take slices of, while "Taart" of "Gebak" refers more to the actu... | TheBlasphemer | General Chit Chat | 01-17-2008 at 07:55 AM |

RE: [Request] 2 MAJOR stuffplug features Srry Markus (and all others), but Developers don't like feature stealing.
