If you just started programming and if you had the source, you'll see that it would be very easy to fix I guess, just make a loop for it (blink 10 times or so, then off, waiting for next msg). BTW: be carefull with flashing the keyboard leds! If you change the status of the led, the status of numlock/capslock/scrolllock will also change! This can be annoying when someone is typing a msg. Once you got this... take it a step further (if you know electronics): Create a small box with a led, buzzer and a RF-receiver.
