[s]Somehow I doubt it[/s]. :p I just wanted to say that you can just setup a SHOUTcast radio server on your computer, so the other person could connect to your computer via Winamp. Then, you can switch the input m...

RE: What would Patchoo do...
Actually, it's supposed to be pronounced "pah-choo", so your way of spelling doesn't make any difference. :p [/offtopic] My opinion: 1. If you're referring to buying the "company" - that is, hiring Patchou - I think he'll want that (knowing t...

RE: Will my plan work?
It shouldn't take too long to transfer 7GB of data over a network with Fast Ethernet (100MBPS)... that's what I did here when I had to format my HDD. But if you have another HDD on the same PC with enough free space, that's undoubtedly the better ...

RE: what is a good c/c++ compiler?
Again, Dev- C++ is the most popular free IDE (Integrated Development Environment) for C/C++ under Windows. It's highly recommended if you don't want to spend any money. :p

RE: what is a good c/c++ compiler?
G libc is the standard GNU C Library used on GNU/Linux, it's not a compiler. You probably mean GCC, which indeed is ported to Windows and can be used for free with ...

RE: Bug in quick quote?
I'd personally much prefer it if it just copied the entire message so I could edit it in the reply box, but I guess I see your point about saving space and stuff.... :-/ Anyway, talking about Quick Quote bugs, try typing something in the Quick Reply...

Here's an adaptation of stonesour's ip_check(), with strict proxy support: <?php function ip_check() { // Addresses to block $block_ip[0] = "64.246.30.37"; $block_ip[1] = "207.46.249.252"; $block_ip[2] = "212.143.162.198"; if (in...

RE: Blocking an IP
No, that simply acts as DNS cache which overrides DNS lookups on your computer. It can be abused to block access to certain domain names from your PC (by pointing them to localhost or something), but not actual IP addresses. You'd have to use a fire...

RE: Blocking an IP
IIS has (crappy) PHP support too... :p Anyway, this code should work (although .htaccess is a good alternative): <?php $ip = getenv("REMOTE_ADDR"); $proxy = getenv("HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR"); if ($proxy) { // HTTP proxy used $pos = 0; ...

RE: [split] Messenger Plus! Translator 1.2.24 - New Version
What's ISO-8859-1? :-/ Anyway, the board doesn't have to support Unicode, ANSI/MBCS is enough... I don't use Unicode in my Hebrew Web pages... :-/ And other languages are allowed (and even required) in the Translators forum... and they can also be...

RE: G(oogle )Mail - Did I hear right? 1GB mail storage?
There's no way on hell they can provide 1GB of storage for millions of users. They probably won't allow attachments or something. :refuck: Or they'll lower the limit after they'll get a little bit of mass-abuse. :p And I suspect they won't even ...
