Yep, you're right. That's why i said "usually". You can always include you're own custom buttons to use in an application.

I'm busy experimenting now, should have something for you guys tomorrow (although very basic). It seems faily simple for a basic skin. If i can do it, anyone can. Maybe i should have a read of the Plus! scripting documentation too, so i can try that...

Yep, thats true. It's Windows itself that creates the (usually) creates the title bar, close, minimize, maximize and restore buttons based on the current Windows theme. You don't need to create a manifest file though (at least i never have) ~Salem...

The files are the same (at least as far as i know), it's just that due to the differences between XP and Vista graphics display functionality (the graphics engine) that it looks different. That's at least how i understand it. ~Salem(@)

Well not anymore. It used to work when Windows Live Messenger 8.0 Beta was first introduced. I wonder why it doesn't anymore.I really liked it.

I've switched to the standard Windows XP theme, and haven't seen the bug reappear yet (since being online from about 9am GMT), so i guess the cause is the themes/skins ~Salem(@)

Here are my replies to your questions Sometimes the contents of the desktop contacts "window" is blank (all white), sometimes i actually see the floating contact, just with the window borders around it. ~Salem(@)
