RE: Paris Meeting : We survived ^^
It's good to hear you all had a good time. I wish I could have been there too. Maybe you'll come to London sometime...I can be there in under two hours. That's my wishful thinking. :p

RE: Which cell phone do you have?
I had a Nokia 3310 for a while until a few months ago, now I've got an LG G5400. It's definately the best phone I've had yet. :)

RE: Apple releases their first colour screened Ipod.
There's no way I could ever afford one at the moment...but I'd really love one of those. Actually...I'd just like any kind of iPod.

RE: Internet Explorer takes forever to load websites
I had a few similar problems when I upgraded to XP Service Pack 2. In order to solve my problem, I had to uninstall SP2, reboot, uninstall IE6, reboot, reinstall SP2, reboot, reinstall IE6. I realise that's a lot of messing around and it wasn't for...

RE: Messenger Plus! 3.21
I was about to say more or less the same as Jeronimo just did. The new screen is certainly very clear and I hope it doesn't cost you too much money Patchou. Time will tell I suppose. Oh, and congratulations on the MVP status! [img]http://shoutbox.m...

I visit some sites that use BBlog, but most seem to use WordPress.

RE: Subscribe/Favorites Suggestion
Yeah. I just created a test thread, posted a reply and then hit back. The reply was gone. It seems to just be the subscriptions page. :dodgy:

RE: Sort by Subject, Author, Forum, Time
Remember that the basic search page is exactly that...basic. If WDZ keeps adding features from the normal search page (like sorting the results by title, author, forum etc), then it's no longer a basic search script. ;)

RE: WDZ/WJ/Surfi - Pruin user time?!?
Actually, thinking back...I've got my wires crossed haven't I. :p I remember now, that system was to make sure email addresses were real, not that users were active. Nevermind.

RE: WDZ/WJ/Surfi - Pruin user time?!?
That's how it was done last time, although I can't remember whether users had one week or two to confirm that they wished to keep their accounts. It wouldn't suprise me if the same system is used next time a major prune is required.

RE: Subscribe/Favorites Suggestion
I doubt it, I can't even recreate it. Clicking the back button doesn't show the unsubscribed thread in the list again.

RE: Registered Users Only
That's correct. Although guest posting is disabled here it can be enabled. The "Registered users only" note appears next to anything that the guest can't use, but registered users can...fairly obviously. ;)

RE: Your favorite web browser?
I tend to use Avant Browser more than any other, simply because it's what I'm used to, but I've got a few others installed too. Opera is but one.

RE: WDZ/WJ/Surfi - Pruin user time?!?
They would be stored in the database, but as these users are not using the forums, nobody is requesting this information from the database...especially thier posts, as the point of this thread is that these users don't have any. ;)
