I believe thats to do with the encoding of your weird characters (i dont know the actual name of them :P). If certain characters are not supported by the font that your WLM uses, it will appear as a little box or a "♥" or something similar. Its just time consuming and repetitive, thats the problem. I think they are looking for a fast way to see changes.
