WLM probably doesn't look at the contacts' names. It may be that WLM hasn't seen the contacts' names because none have come online yet, and so the contacts cannot tell you what they're called. If you're talking about the Messenger Plus! lock feature (I can't see anything like that without MP!) then usually all you need to do is do the same thing as when you locked it, eg.
