odd temp readings
What the thread title says. I'm getting odd readings on speedfan, one is -32oC, two others are 114-126oC, usually both the same at the time. So wtf are they? AMD Athlon processor (not 64 etc. Just Athlon) ASUS A7V133 VIA 686B (I think, not sure how ...

RE: .ICOs in DLLs
basically it's just a resource centre for any programs that need to use bitmaps/icons from shell32. I haven't figured out how to use the original shell32, and I don't care anyway :S

RE: HELP pls! (losing net connection)
PCI = the cream coloured rectangular things on motherboard Onboard = a network socket actually on the motherboard instead of on a PCI card :)

RE: .ICOs in DLLs
Resource Hacker worked. :cheesy: btw, I just finished deleting everything except the icons and bitmaps in a shell32 copied to desktop, for use in special apps of mine. Also, I can't seem to find the icon for the restart button. I've scoured shell32...

.ICOs in DLLs
Hey, I've been wondering how you put .ico files in DLLs, such as shell32. Ive tried thwacking them in the resources folder (VB 2005 Express) and debugging it, but when I open "TestFolder1"s properties and change the folder icon it says "There are...

RE: Camera problem shut down
IMHO, I wouldn't suggest installing earlier versions, UNLESS you seriously really need it (like for conferences, @work etc.) Why bother getting a whole lot of less features just to get one more?

RE: p2p help
Is there a blocked/allowed list of programs/services in Zone Alarm? If there is, all you need to do is use it :)

RE: volume bar goes down....
The volume bar is sound sensitive, ie. You make a loud sound, like scream or shout, it automatically adjusts itself. In future versions of WLM, I'm hoping this is removed. :undecided:

RE: HELP pls! (losing net connection)
If you have a router, reset it by unplugging the power cord then plugging it back in. If you don't have a router/reset doesn't work, try checking out your network adapter (onboard or PCI?).
