Could iterate the contacts in the chat window and do it by email that way. Names are (were) likely to change often making it unreliable. If it does just come down to UI elements such as the buttons on the Contact List, then it is highly likely that it can't find the right place to put them (i.e. the resources have been changed). A-Patch changes the resources that WLM uses to build it's interface to remove the adverts.
