RE: Font copier
I don't know where/how but presumably messenger has to put the fonts on your HD somewhere if you can see them without having them installed. If thats not the case, the best I could suggest is to try using Xniff and get the name of the font from that...

RE: Advanced Events
I knew there was no OnNudge event. I was checking here to find out if anybody knew a way around it. davidpolitis: I merely said it wasn't for an auto-nudge-back script because I thought people may be more reluctant to help if they believed this was...

Advanced Events
Hey guys I was wondering if anyone could tell me of any ways to perform "advanced" events. I know a few people have used scripts to do things such as enable the "Show what I'm listening to", I'm looking to do the reverse, and perform a functio...

RE: Windows Firewall
OK, thats done, thanks very much. Admittedly, I didn't really understand that :S but I did get enough from it to look into the registry myself and sort it, so very much appreciated. :D

Windows Firewall
Hey guys, I have a minor problem with a script. It's using Pai's Xniff.ocx listening to UDP port 8278. I have been stuck with this for a while, but I finally realised the reason the script wasn't working was because of the Windows Firewall. Up ...

RE: A little advice
That works absolutely perfectly phalaxii, thanks very much. The delay only appears to occur when the media is stopped, so it actually works as a minor benefit to my script. Very much appreciated :D

A little advice
Hey guys. I don't really want to do this, but I've been playing about for ages and can't come up with a suitable solution. I have an XBMC script running, which changes my music whenever a broadcast is detected. All f this is working fine (well, k...

RE: help with msgplus windows please
OK, my mistake. As I said, I know nothing of windows. It's not that you're stating (PlusWnd.Height > 63). PlusWnd is only really the identifier used in the MPLScripting docs, so shouldn't it be (tehwin.Height > 63). That would explain why it ...

RE: iTunes+ Help
Do you have a new version of iTunes installed, or any issues appearing there? I've only just installed this script, but as far as I can tell, theres no send current track because the script is detecting that iTunes isn't currently playing. If noth...

RE: [Help] Change DP modification
True enough, I don't doubt that his examples were just that, although theres always the possibility of people getting ideas from that. Granted, I was maybe a bit quick to jump to conclusions. Although I'm sure waynewilson knows exactly what the if...

RE: help with msgplus windows please
What do you mean "won't change back to the bigger"? Are you clicking the same button twice, or are you manually resizing the window before calling the function? I'll guess that you need to change "if (PlusWnd.Height > 63)" to "if (PlusWnd.Heig...

RE: [Help] Change DP modification
I really hope that's only an example, and even then don't think much of it. When you really, really get down to it and know what you're doing, any language can be used for a lot of things. But the thought of people considering MsgPlus! scriptin...

RE: [Help] Change DP modification
Not sure I'd agree there Mattike. I'd say the main bonus to scripting is that you can change it, without entirely knowing what you're doing. At least to some extent. I started out not having a clue and dissecting other peoples scripts to do what...

RE: [Request] mail notification when busy
No, I'd like to perform a function when I recieve an email from hotmail, because it's the only one I use. *Realises Plus! POP3 checker would work better than Outlook" Might be about to change that, but if theres a way to detect when an email is re...

RE: [REQUEST] ALICE BOT
To be completely honset, I wouldnt have a clue what to do, because I'm no scripting pro, but just by looking at it, it looks like a huge undertaking. I'm not entirely sure that plus scripting would be the ideal solution for it. Even if someone is...

RE: Port Listening
I think it's doable too, just need to figure out how to enter promiscuous, or if its possible on the wlan/router setup (there's no bridge on computer, so I dont think that SonicSams method works for me). I've ran into another problem with my other...

RE: Port Listening
Fair enough. Glad its fun, I guess thats pretty much the reason everyones here. Definitly is for me, at least to some extent (errors annoy me). Basic just is I have a home network, with a wireless laptop, and an XBox 360 cabled to a switch, connect...

RE: [Request] mail notification when busy
I'd quite like to know if this can be done too, or if there is some form of OnMailRecieved identifier. Would definitly have its uses

RE: Port Listening
It's not really anything important Deco, just a couple of minor thoughts. Basically, the 360 auto signs in, and lets everyone on your "Friends List" see what game your playing, where you are in it, and what your total GamerScore is. I'd only cons...

RE: Port Listening
OK, maybe some extra thoughts, although I'm not entirely sure if any of this is possible. I must stress highly that I do not know what I'm talking about, but I have an idea. If I'm wrong... I wont take offence. I realised that I could possibly u...

Nope. Just finished playing about with my script, and I think thats everything I need the port-sniffing for, so thank you very very much for all the help.:D

RE: Port Listening
OK, I was going to post the code, but I tried listening for all traffic first, and adding srcport into the debug, so now I have it being detected, but it's on port 1028. Thing is though, I have the same script running on mIRC, and it definitlely d...

RE: Port Listening
OK, I've downloaded and registered Xniff.ocx, but I can't get it to detect the packet I'm listening for. I've used a couple of other programs so I know I'm receiving the infomation to my computer, but theres nothing showing in the debug wheres ...

RE: Port Listening
Thats great cheers. I'll give Xniff a try, I'm just slightly dubious because I'm on a wireless network, but I'll try, maybe cable it too for testing. Thanks guys

Port Listening
Hey guys, I'm needing a little bit of help with a minor script. Well, maybe a lot of help, because I honestly dont have a clue, but maybe I can find out if this is at least possible. I have an xbox, which runs xbmc on my network, and I'm looking to...
